Basic Clinical Skills (FAU STUDENTS ONLY)

This ourse teaches essential healthcare skills to student to prepare them for their roles as healthcare providers. Students will gain medical knowledge through training on the fundamentals of Vital signs, the varipus methods and equipment used to acess these cardinal signs, determining heigh and weight, patient preparation, positioning, and methods of examination. It also gives students a basic understanding  of what takes place from the moment the patient checks in to veryfying their insurance, from taking the patient's history to assisting the physician with an examination, all while emphasizing on safety and ethics.
